QUALCOMM's T2 Untethered TrailerTRACS solution leverages GPS positioning and wireless communications technology to assist carriers in determining and reporting a trailer's location and load status, regardless of whether or not the trailer is hooked to a tractor.
The benefits of trailer tracking extend beyond carriers to shippers and drivers as well. Trailer tracking provides shippers increased visibility to freight at each point along the supply chain, helping them improve planning and forecasting.
