The package includes all required professional services for the complete digital transformation and scales for growth.
"AMICAS Office Solutions will provide tremendous value to imaging centers and ambulatory clinics," said Rodney Hawkins, AMICAS' vice president of product management. "Since it uses our acclaimed RIS & PACS products in a single solution, customers will receive industry leading workflow benefits resulting in improved productivity, reduced cost and better patient care."

complete RIS workflow and filmless interpretation by Radiologists
utilizing Vision Series PACS(TM).
AMICAS Office Solutions(TM) Complete includes all the functionality of
Express and includes a full PACS Archive.
Both solutions use the comprehensive functionality of Vision Series(TM) RIS & Vision Series(TM) PACS. AMICAS Office Solutions(TM) is fully Web-based providing the ability to simplify the conversion process from analog workflow and film based imaging to an automated digital environment. The system includes scheduling, registration, patient tracking, DICOM modality worklist, DICOM image acquisition, Web-based radiologist interpretation with 3D toolset, reporting, DICOM image archive and capacity for image distribution to referring physicians.
"Smaller imaging centers have all the same needs as larger facilities from scheduling patients to softcopy image interpretation, to dictating and distributing reports and archiving images," said Peter McClennen, president of AMICAS. "We believe this to be the first completely Web-based RIS & PACS solution available in a single server configuration."
AMICAS Office Solutions(TM) is designed to install faster, have less complexity and be easier to support. It is fully scalable and can be expanded as the imaging center business grows. Mr. Hawkins added, "As customers grow their imaging business, adding new modalities, growing volume or new imaging centers, the AMICAS system grows with them. By simply adding an additional Windows(R) PC based server, the system expands in capacity." Additional software modules include Vision Series(TM) Document Management, Vision Series(TM) Financials and Electronic Data Interchange solutions and are complemented by partner offerings of Computed Radiography, CD Burning, Orthopedic Templating and many other solutions.
"We've seen continued growth of imaging centers in the US market. With this suite of products we can now better offer our advanced IT solutions in a simplified package and at a reduced cost to the customer," said Mr. McClennen. "It's a win-win for both AMICAS and outpatient imaging customers."
