Airbus wins 678 mln usd order for 4 A350 jets from US' ILFC

LONDON (AFX) - Airbus said it has received an order for four of its new A350 jets from US leasing company ILFC, worth about 678 mln usd, according to the monthly sales sheet for January received today.

The order, placed on Jan 10, is for two A350-800 and two A350-900 models.

IFLC had placed orders for 12 A350s worth 2 bln usd at the Dubai Airshow in November, with an option for eight more jets. It is not known if the new order forms part of the earlier order.

Airbus was not immediately available for comment.
