FRANKFURT (AFX) - SAP AG chief executive Henning Kagermann said the company plans to increase its budget for research and development by more than 10 pct this year from last year's 1 bln eur, according to a prerelease of his interview with Die Welt newspaper's Saturday edition.
Speaking on the sidelines of the CEBIT trade fair, Kagermann also did not rule out acquisitions in Asia in order to expand its customer base among medium-sized companies.
