HUDSON, N.H., Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Presstek, Inc. , today announced that the Company has begun the start-up process to commence digital plate production at its facility in South Hadley, MA. The production line is expected to be running sometime later today. This production process, when combined with activities begun yesterday, will bring the digital plate operation back to full capacity.
In cooperation with local authorities, the Company determined it is appropriate to begin the process following the complete review of Presstek's existing Emergency Action Plan and safety procedures.
The Company is currently assessing when production will commence on the conventional product line and will provide information as appropriate.
