1080p Display Video Enhancement Solution: Xilinx and Apical Ltd. will demonstrate the new 1080p Dynamic Gamma correction IP on a Xilinx display development platform enabled by Spartan FPGAs using a 45" LCD display. The solution substantially improves video quality to differentiate emerging 1080p high end displays.

Advanced Video Processing: Xilinx and Image Processing Techniques (IPT) will demonstrate broadcast and 'prosumer' quality video processing leveraging Xilinx FPGAs. Reference designs offered by IPT for scaling, de-interlacing, picture-in-picture and DVE will be shown.

Handset Demonstration Platform: The demonstration focuses on the methodology used to quickly incorporate new features while meeting stringent power consumption, size, and cost requirements of the dynamic converged handset market. Two separate platforms feature a TI OMAP and a Marvell Xscale processor driven central motherboard. Several plug-in modules powered by Xilinx low-cost CoolRunner(TM)-II CPLDs showcase WiFi, mobile video, and emerging memory interfaces.

Xilinx Automotive MOST Solution: Demonstration of Xilinx new Media- Oriented Systems Transport (MOST) solution enabled by Spartan(TM)-3E devices. The solution features next-generation automotive infotainment networks in new vehicle platforms. Xilinx MOST LogiCORE(TM) IP and MicroBlaze(TM) embedded soft processor are combined with MOCEAN Network Services to demonstrate remote media player control and streaming audio over the MOST fiber optic network.

LogiCRAFT2 Automotive Infotainment: Demonstration of Xylon LogiCRAFT2 board, powered by Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGAs, showcases the ability to deliver multi-user infotainment on an affordable, highly integrated, and scalable platform. A second similar system will also demonstrate a parameterizable and scalable 3D OpenGL graphics solution using Xylon LogicBRICKS IP and a Xilinx MicroBlaze embedded soft processor.
