PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Alcatel-Lucent said it has won a contract from Belgian telecoms company Belgacom SA to supply an internet protocol multimedia system platform to support a variety of fixed and mobile services and multimedia communications for residential and business customers.
Belgacom confirmed a 'non-exclusive' contract has been signed, adding the company can still choose other suppliers for network parts if it needs to do so.
Belgacom declined to disclose the contract's value.
