Intelibrands Group, and W, the women's show is pleased to announce that it has received three Telly awards for a special half-hour segment devoted to the topic of women and migraine headaches. Awards for this segment were bestowed for the categories of education, documentary and talk show. The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. In the 29th annual competition, W, the women's show won a total of 15 Telly Awards for its original educational programs.
The "Women & Migraines"specialsegment was produced to educate the public on the debilitating effects of migraine headaches, from which more than 33 million people in the US suffer. The show, which aired nationally on the WE and BRAVO networks, looks into the lives of four women who experience migraines, as well as the new therapies and medications that are available to proactively manage their conditions. Special guests on the program include renowned medical professionals and the Executive Director of the National Headache Foundation, Suzanne Simons.
