International Expert in Technology and Media Convergence Joins Video ConferencingProvider IOCOM
IOCOM, a leading software provider for enterprise-class video conferencing capabilities, today announced that Jeff Hughes, former senior executive of British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) in London, has joined IOCOM’s Board of Advisors. In this role, Mr. Hughes is welcomed by 12 other business and technology leaders that help guide the overall business strategy and direction of IOCOM.

In his former role as executive vice president of leading UK triple play and content provider BSkyB (Sky), Mr. Hughes oversaw the creation of new business ventures and opportunities and sat on the overall executive committee of the company. Prior to this role, Hughes was the group director for IT and Strategy where he lead the technology teams within Sky and oversaw the technical implementation of Sky’s broadband roll-out and network build, the creation of the new online platforms and portals and the launch of an end-to-end CRM system. He was also responsible for all of the IT infrastructure and hardware for the company.
Before joining BSkyB, Mr. Hughes was an executive at IBM. He was a program manager and IT transformation professional at PwC (which was later acquired by IBM) with many successful implementations throughout Europe and the UK. Hughes started his management consulting career at Andersen Consulting in the United States.
