Regulatory News:
EDF Energies Nouvelles (Paris:EEN), a major player in the North American renewable energies industry, announces the commissioning of the Hoosier wind farm in Indiana. This 106 MW facility is equipped with REpower turbines, each with a unit capacity of 2 MW.
Developed and built by enXco, the US subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, the Hoosier wind farm is 100%-owned by the Group. A power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed with US utility Indianapolis Power & Light, with the latter agreeing to buy the wind farm's entire output over a 20-year period.
This new achievement underpins EDF Energies Nouvelles' activities in the United States and lifts the Group's wind energy capacity installed in the country to 965.4 MW gross (695.5 MW net).
