International Security Community and 2012 Olympic Organizers Witness Latest in Bioterrorism Technologies
Universal Detection Technology (www.udetection.com) (OTCBB:UNDT), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and other infectious health threats and provider of counter-terrorism consulting and training services, reported today on the successful conferences it attended in Paris and London over the course of the last week.
UNDT showcased the latest developments in bio-weapons detection technology, including the company's TS-10-5, a five-agent biodetection handheld assay, at the 2009 Milipol Conference. The biodetection kits were well received by the conference attendees, including officials from military and civil forces from around the globe. UNDT was also able to establish contact with international companies interested in representing the company and its products in their respective countries.
UNDT also presented its products at the 2009 Terrorism and Security Conference in London where the attendees included government, military and civil officials. The purpose of the conference was for U.K. government officials to scrutinize the latest in anti-terror technologies in preparation for the 2012 London Olympics.
"Exhibiting our detection solutions in prominent industry events is instrumental for expansion of our sales and for wide-spread adoption of our equipment," said Jacques Tizabi, UNDT's CEO. "Our presence at the Milipol and at the Terrorism and Security Conference in London was key in establishing contacts with key players from countries around the globe that are concerned about the threat of bioterrorism," he added.
