SYDNEY, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd , Australia's fourth-largest lender, raised its variable mortgage rate by 35 basis points on Friday after Australia's central bank lifted the benchmark rate by 25 basis points earlier this week.
With this, three of Australia's top four banks have lifted their mortage rates above the official cash increase. The top lender National Australia Bank Ltd lifted its rate by 25 basis points.
