
Masami Yamamoto is due to take the helm of the firm starting in April. He will take over a company that analysts have said is long overdue for costs cuts and struggling to keep up with bigger rivals IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Dell.
Yamamoto was speaking at a news conference in Tokyo.
