PARIS, Jan 24 (Reuters) - The dual role of Henri Proglio as chief executive of French electricity group EdF and non-executive chairman of environmental services group Veolia should not last, Economy Minister Christine Lagarde said on Sunday.
Proglio agreed last week to give up a second salary at Veolia after reports that he would draw salaries from his two posts sparked a public uproar weeks before regional elections in March. But pressure has increased for him to drop one of the jobs.
'This shouldn't last forever,' Lagarde said on French television when asked about Proglio's dual role.
