Reichhold announces a 100 EUR/MT price increase effective for all orders shipped on or after April 01, 2010 in Europe.
"Key raw material prices continue to escalate beyond our ability to absorb them, making a further price increase unavoidable," said Alberto Piccinotti, Reichhold commercial vice president, Composites EMEA.
"The tight supply of feedstocks, combined with strong demand in Asia, has led to a continuous upward trend of key polyester raw material prices. We appreciate our customers' understanding of these difficult market conditions as we make every effort to mitigate the impact of rising costs on our product pricing," Piccinotti added.
"At the same time we continue to make investments required to supply high quality, innovative products to help our customers differentiate and create added value," he concluded.
