Indonesian shipping company, PT Trada Maritime, has acquired a majority stake in PT Agate Bumi Tanker for $15 million to strengthen its oil and gas shipping business, said Adrian Sjamsul, Trada's finance director. (Investor Daily)
- RUKUN RAHARJA TO ISSUE $100 MLN CONVERTIBLE BONDS
A small Indonesia's marine port services provider, PT Rukun Raharja, plans to issue $150 million in convertible bonds in order to acquire three energy companies, said Kusumasmoro, Rukun's corporate secretary. (Investor Daily)
- BAKRIE & BROTHERS EYES $500 MLN INFRASTRUCTURE DEAL
Bakrie Group's investment unit, PT Bakrie & Brothers, is discussing possible investment in infrastructure projects, including power plants, toll roads and gas pipe projects, with external investors from South Korea, Japan, China and the middle east, worth $500 million through its subsidiary, PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure, said Bobby Gafur Umar, Bakrie's chief executive officer (Kontan).
- INDONESIA TO ADDRESS ISSUE OF MYANMAR AT ASEAN SUMMIT
Indonesia will address the issue of Mynamar at the ASEAN summit this week and voice the urgency to ensure that the upcoming elections in Myanmar will be inclusive, foreign ministry spokesman Teuku Faizasyah said. (Jakarta Post)
