India cbank official:liquidity situation has improved

NEW DELHI, Aug 20 (Reuters) - The liquidity situation in the financial markets has improved, a senior central bank official said on Friday.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is also keeping a close watch on the liquidity situation, said Janak Raj, an adviser at the RBI's monetary policy division.
