BEIJING (dpa-AFX) - China Ming Yang Wind Power Group Limited (MY) reported that its second-quarter loss to shareholders widened to RMB 62.95 million or RMB 0.51 per share, from a loss of RMB 30.15 million or RMB 0.25 per share, a year ago.
Total revenue was RMB 537.4 million, a decrease of 32.7% compared to RMB 798.0 million prior year.
Gross margin was 12.29%, compared to 14.52% prior year. The company said the decrease was primarily due to a decrease in the ASP of WTGs commissioned during the second quarter of 2013 which outpaced the decrease in cost of sales.
