Music streaming service Spotify has been slapped with a lawsuit by Californian company Wixen Music Publishing, accusing it of infringing upon the rights of songwriters and publishers alike. Wixen, which represents the likes of the Black Keys, Weezer, Rancid, Dave Hause and AFI, was seeking damages of at least $1.6bn.
