
Variety magazine is pleased to announce a growing slate of premier speakers at its Film Marketing Summit, Oct. 5 and 6 at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
Participants, including previously announced keynoters Tom Rothman, co-chairman and CEO of Fox Filmed Entertainment, and Robert Friedman, co-chairman and CEO of Summit Entertainment, span top theatrical marketers at Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros, Focus Features, Fox, Summit, among other studios.
The two-day event will be headlined by Tony Sella, co-president and chief creative officer, domestic theatrical marketing at 20th Century Fox; Anne Globe, head of worldwide marketing at DreamWorks Animation; Nancy Kirkpatrick, president of worldwide marketing at Summit Entertainment; and David Brooks, president of worldwide marketing at Focus Features.
Other film speaker highlights include Elias Plishner, senior VP of worldwide digital media, Sony Pictures Worldwide Marketing and Distribution, at Sony Pictures Entertainment; Doug Neil, senior VP of digital marketing at Universal Pictures; Tom De Luca, VP of worldwide interactive marketing at Warner Bros; Jack Pan, executive VP of marketing at Summit Entertainment; Nicole Butte, VP New Media at Focus Features; Ted Mundorff, CEO of Landmark Theatres; and Marian Koltai-Levine, executive VP of the Film Department at PMK*BNC.
Variety's Film Marketing Summit will also feature high-profile marketers from such non-film companies as Twitter, Activision and Photobucket, whose strategies can offer lessons and partnership opportunities to the movie community.
