LivePerson Expands Senior Management Team With Hiring of Software Industry Veterans Kevin Kohn and Jim Dicso

NEW YORK, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LivePerson, Inc. , the leading provider of communications solutions for online sales, marketing and customer service, today announced the hiring of Kevin Kohn as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Jim Dicso as Vice President of Sales. The appointments confirm the company's commitment to accelerating the adoption of Timpani, its recently launched multi-channel communications platform.

Both gentlemen bring extensive software industry experience to these key positions on the LivePerson executive team. In his new role, Kohn will develop and oversee corporate marketing and communication strategies -- including branding, advertising, public relations and events -- with an intensified focus on driving demand and momentum for Timpani, the company's hosted software solution that supports and manages online customer interactions.

Kohn brings to LivePerson more than 15 years of marketing and business development experience in software and high technology. He was most recently with RedDot Solutions, where he was Vice President of Marketing for the global provider of enterprise content management solutions. Previously, Kohn served as Executive Vice President for MediaSurface, where he was responsible for expanding the British software company's presence in North America. He has also held executive positions with TIBCO, Xerox Corporation and InterWorld.

Dicso will lead the charge to deliver LivePerson's expanded, on-demand service offerings to both new and existing markets. In addition to overseeing and expanding the company's direct sales force, he will develop, implement and maintain structured sales processes to achieve aggressive growth initiatives.

Dicso previously served as Director of Sales for the Northeast U.S., Canada, and the Federal Government at Witness Systems, a leading global provider of performance optimization software and services. His experience also includes senior positions with PTC Systems, where he was the Vice President of Sales for New Markets/Europe, and Xerox Corporation.

"Kevin and Jim will be instrumental in the company's continued efforts to increase market share and revenue," said Robert LoCascio, LivePerson CEO. "They both hold a proven track record in helping organizations with business models similar to ours achieve success. Developing and launching Timpani, a fully-integrated online communications platform, was our key focus earlier this year; we now have the sales and marketing expertise to help us capitalize on this tremendous market opportunity."
