
CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LAN Airlines has selected Goodrich Corporation to provide overhaul services for its fleet of Boeing 767 aircraft powered by CF6-80C2 engines. Under the terms of the contract, Goodrich will restore as many as 55 thrust reversers on a schedule predicated by the operational needs of LAN.
The work will take place at Goodrich's Alabama Service Center, an aircraft component/nacelle/thrust reverser Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility, located in Foley, Ala. The work will include thrust reversers overhaul as well as maintenance and repair on nacelle components and flight control surfaces.

Goodrich provides the following products and systems as original equipment to Boeing for the 767: main and nose landing gear, evacuations systems, specialty seating, sensors, de-icing systems, fuel nozzles and manifolds as well as actuation and nacelle system components.
