TargetLink code is used in the cabin-air-pressure control used in the A380. Developed by Nord-Micro, this key item of equipment ensures correct cabin air pressure at all altitudes. The cabin-air-pressure control is classified as highly safety-critical and was developed in compliance with the highest avionics safety standard (DO-178B Level A).
"dSPACE is particularly proud that the production code generated by TargetLink is being certified according to the aviation industry's toughest safety standard," said Kevin Kott, president of dSPACE Inc. "TargetLink proved its value as a development tool in the rigorous quality-assurance processes of one of the largest industrial projects ever."
dSPACE congratulates the A380 on this impressive flight, and is proud to have been a part of this innovative project.
