
The suit, to be brought before a district court in Duesseldorf, takes advantage of recent changes to a German antitrust law that allow companies to sue for civil damages on unfair market practices.
Classen told the Financial Times Deutschland that the plaintiffs have collected their individual complaints together under one allegation being filled by the Belgian public company, Cartel Damages Claims (CDC).
CDC will submit 260,000 documents as evidence, collected between 1993 and 2000.
