SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- Walt Disney Co. said Wednesday it plans to launch a national wireless phone service designed specifically for families. Disney Mobile will launch in June with features that allow parents to directly manage how the phones are used, the company said. The service will allow parents to set spending allowances and track usage, determine the hours of the day and days of the week when kids can use their phones, manage with whom their children may communicate, and locate phones with GPS capabilities.
