ZaKoTel GmbH, a company that belongs to the AMITELO Group, has developed a special call centre solution and therefore has accessed a million market throughout Europe. The modern technology of the platform "3G-IVR" facilitates the next generation of call centre solutions for telephony and data transmission based on Voice-over-Internet.
The 3G-IVR call centre platform improves efficiency in telephone marketing while reducing the investment costs at the same time. The technology is flexible and can be used scalably. The platform can, on the one hand, be used by medium-sized call centre operators for communication with customers and other target groups. On the other hand, the platform represents an innovative solution for the complex applications of large operators whose core business is the provision of call centre services. The product combines traditional telephony and interactive voice response (IVR) features. IVR makes it possible for users to obtain important information, such as flight schedules, product information or cinema programmes by phone. In addition to this, IVR solutions are being used to an increasing extent for phone conversations and to provide or collect information relating to appointments, unsettled invoices and other time-critical activities and facts.
The technical integration of Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) enables services to be provided in real time, like via a global PBX telecommunications system, all over the world. In August, ZaKoTel co-operated with AMITELO Wireless SL to launch a telephone system based VoIP. This system was developed with a special focus on the requirements of the African market. The new 3G-IVR call centre platform confirms the development capabilities and sound know-how of the AMITELO Group in the VoIP field.
It is a major economic advantage for customers that 3G-IVR is put into operation without high initial investment in hardware or software. The call centre solution is hosted externally on a server in an AMITELO computer centre. This outsourcing solution saves considerable costs in initial investment and maintenance. Customers always have access to the latest state of the art too, because new developments and software updates are available immediately. The solution can be implemented irrespective of the system and can therefore be used individually, not only with operating systems like Windows but also based on Mac and Linux. The service is charged per customer according to the minutes incurred. This means that AMITELO receives recurring monthly income.
AMITELO will be covering a large market in Europe with the 3G-IVR call centre platform. According to the Call Center Forum (CCF) in June this year, there are 360. 000 call centre agents in Germany. According to information from the German Direct Marketing Association (DDV), the investments by German companies in telephone marketing in 2006 amount to € 5 billion. The DDV has determined that there were more than 5.500 call centres in Germany alone in 2005 and market growth amounted on average to 7% per year. In 2005, the CCF announced potential growth of up to 30% for the German market in the next few years. Business Insight, a US based market research company (www.globalbusinessinsight.com), has published in January 2005 in conjunction with a market research about the theme "Call Center Growth Strategies", that the number of agent working places will raise in Europe, in the Middle East and in Africa (EMEA) from 1,5 million in 2003 to 2,1 million in 2008. This reflects a growth rate of 40%. The total number of call centres will increase between 2003 and 2008 from 29.000 to 45.000 according to the research. For AMITELO, this means high customer and sales potential generated by the marketing of the innovative 3G-IVR call centre platform also on the European market.
From 03. "" 06. October 2006, ZaKoTel will be presenting the new 3G-IVR call centre platform at the ExpoComm trade fair (www.expocomm.com) in Buenos Aires (Argentina).
