Verso Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRSO), a global provider of next generation network solutions, announced today that Superonline, one of Turkey's largest ISPs, has selected Verso's Class 5 Softswitch solution for VoIP wholesale termination services. The solution will also provide residential and enterprise VoBB service, which will be launched under the Alo!DECT and SuperTALK brands.
The Verso Class 5 Call Manager provides feature-rich VoBB to enterprise and residential markets over any broadband medium including cable, xDSL, wireless, fiber, satellite, microwave, and power-line networks. It helps create true satellite offices with the same access and dialing plan capabilities as corporate PBX stations by combining the VoBB and enterprise managed services features.
"The solution was selected because it provides a true end-to-end VoIP solution for us, and has the ability to scale seamlessly according to our growth, said Gökhan Duyarlar, technical director, Superonline.
"We can now offer advanced residential and enterprise communication services that provide a competitive advantage as we migrate to VoBB, added Savas Unsal, managing director, Superonline. "Superonline has positioned itself to become the leading brand not only for Turkey, but for Turkish-speaking communities around the globe, and Verso's softswitch solution is part of our plan to achieve this.
"Superonline is part of the Cukurova Group, which controls Turkcell, Turkey's largest mobile operator, and DigiTurk, one of Turkey's satellite TV broadcasters. Verso has a strong presence in Turkey, and Superonline is the fourth licensed operator in Turkey to select Verso's softswitch solution, through our local distributor Mobius, said Stefan Schoofs, director of sales, Verso Technologies.
"With this customer win, Verso further penetrates an important growth market. This decision by Superonline demonstrates that Verso's strategy of providing next generation communications solutions to the fastest growing countries in the world is working. Verso is experiencing organic growth as the company participates in the network buildout of newer markets and the replacement of legacy products in mature ones, said Monty Bannerman, chief executive officer, Verso Technologies. "These long anticipated and powerful dynamics are just emerging and the technology cycle is now on the upswing. Verso is well positioned to benefit from these industry trends.
