Major decliners:
-Buhrmann slipped 1.99 pct to 9.86 as Theodoor Gilissen downgraded the stock to 'sell' from 'buy'. Buhrmann announced it will change its name to Corporate Express. Hagemeyer was down 0.85 pct at 3.52
-ASMI sank 2.05 pct at 16.74 as concerns over its back-end activities outweighed a positive outlook for the front-end in the group's fourth-quarter results report out yesterday after market close. ASML dropped 1.12 pct to 17.64 and Philips shed 1.0 pct to 27.71
-Fugro slipped 1.07 pct to 35.99 as profit-taking set in after the company posted solid full-year results and gave a positive outlook
-Draka lost 0.99 pct to 22.97 in consolidation after recent gains, after the cabling company reported full-year results lacking surprises
Major gainers:
-Ahold climbed 1.69 pct to 7.8 amid a report various consortia of private equity firms have put in bids for the Dutch retailer's US Foodservice unit which it has put up for sale
-DSM put on 0.94 pct at 33.43 after JP Morgan upgraded the stock to 'overweight' from 'neutral' with a 38 eur target price from 37
-Vopak jumped 4.36 pct at 39.74 after well-received full-year results and an outlook for 2007 operating profit before exceptionals up at least 10 pct
-Univar extended yesterday's gains after providing an upbeat outlook for this year, rising 2.63 pct to 40.23
