NEW YORK (AP) - Keryx Biopharmaceuticals Inc. on Tuesday said it named Mark Stier as vice president and chief accounting officer.
AS CAO, Stier will oversee all accounting practices and policies. He previously was vice president and chief information officer for Reliant Pharmaceutical and president of U.S. generic pharmaceuticals of Alpharma.
Keryx said it also granted Stier 100,000 options at an exercise price of $11.11, with the options vesting over four years.
Shares slipped 14 cents to close at $10.50 on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
