NEW YORK (AP) - Hong Kong-based electronics manufacturer Nam Tai Electronics Inc. said Monday it named John Farina as chief financial officer, replacing Patinda Lei, who has served as interim CFO since January 2006.
Farina helped found Celestica Inc., a North American electronics manufacturing services company, and served as general manager of corporate development and financial executive. He also spent 13 years with IBM Corp. in Canada and the U.S.
Lei had been chairman of the company's subassemblies business Zastron Precision-Tech Ltd. before she was named interim CFO, and will continue to manage that business.
Shares of Nam Tai slipped 11 cents to $12 in morning trading.
