Colortone Staging will receive the award for Best Overall Staging for a Corporate or Association Event - Technology Budget $50,000 - $199,999 for its work on the Annual World Conference on Endourology. One judge commented, "Colortone showed remarkable resourcefulness and an eye towards details in developing this solution for their customer. The scale and simplicity of the solution combined with the visual execution made this the hands-down winner." The honorable mention in this category will go to AVW-TELAV Inc. for its work on the RE/MAX Awards.
AVW-TELAV and LMG Inc. are co-winners in the Best Overall Staging for a Corporate or Association Event - Technology Budget over $200,000 category for their work on the IBEW Convention and the Rite Aid Annual Conference, respectively. "The depth and flexibility of this production was amazing," says one judge of AVW-TELAV's work. "An innovative blend of technology," said another judge of LMG's project.
Imagination Ltd. will receive the Award for Best Overall Staging for Corporate/Industrial Entertainment Event for its work on the 2006 New Model Introduction Meeting for Ford Lincoln Mercury. One judge praised the "intricate staging and edge-blending projection on a versatile and multi-faceted three-day event that achieved a class of its own." Markey AV will receive an honorable mention for its work on the 2006 National Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony.
AVW-TELAV will receive the award for Best Use of AV Technology for a Trade Show Booth/Client for its work on a Hitachi booth. "The design of the booth neatly optimizes the experience of a visitor who has come to learn more about the company's products," was one judge's comment.
Scharff Weisberg will receive the award for Most Innovative Use of Technology for an Outdoor Event, for its Bright Nights project, held in New York's Union Square. "The daunting task of achieving large-scale interactivity in an artistic, month-long outdoor event in December in New York was achieved while providing entertainment for young and old alike," one judge said of the project. The honorable mention in this category will go to On Projecoes for its work on the Red Bull End of the Year Party, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
