
RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Capital Bank today announced that Jennifer Benefield has been promoted to Support Services Executive and Senior Vice President and Willard Ross has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing, Training and Development.

Benefield began her career with Capital Bank in 1997 as a Customer Service Representative and over the past 10 years has moved into and accumulated additional roles and responsibilities. She is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and resides in Raleigh with her husband Scott.

Ross has 31 years of financial experience and has been with Capital Bank for two years. Prior to joining Capital Bank, he spent 14 years in banking in Raleigh and Rocky Mount, N.C. Ross is a graduate of Davidson College and enjoys tennis, quail hunting and the Carolina Hurricanes.
