
DECATUR, Ill. (AP) - Archer Daniels Midland Co., a processor of soybeans, corn and wheat, said Tuesday it made several appointments in its commercial and production group.
ADM said it appointed Scott Fredericksen as president of the rail container and supply chain transportation segment. Fredericksen was formerly president of the North American oilseed processing division at ADM.
The company also named John Guymon as its new vice president of the refined oils operations group. Guymon had served as an operations manager in the packaged oils division.
ADM said it also named Mark Kolkhorst, formerly president of the specialty feed ingredients group, president of ADM milling.
The company also named Kris Lutt the general manager of the specialty feed ingredients segment. Lutt was formerly vice president of corn processing.
Kevin Swanson was named general manager of the packaged oils group and Joe Taets, the former president of the European oilseed processing division, was appointed as the new managing director of the European oilseeds area, the company said.
Gary Towne has been named general manager of the global risk and ethanol group. Towne was formerly vice president of the corn processing segment.
All the appointments are effective immediately, the company said.
ADM shares fell 16 cents to $32.38 in midday trading.
