
Cuyahoga Community College's Student Life & Athletics Department invites the community to laugh with comedian Lisa Alvarado at noon on Thursday, October 11, in the Student Services North Building of the Western Campus, 11000 Pleasant Valley Road, Parma.
The event is free and open to the public and is part of Tri-C's celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Born in Chicago to Peruvian parents, Alvarado writes all her material and enjoys teaching and writing for other standup comedians.
She performs nationally in clubs, at colleges and for corporate audiences. Her TV appearances include NBC's "Last Comic Standing," Nick at Nite's"The Search for the Funniest Mom in America 2" and the Que Loco Comedy Jam.
