BRATISLAVA (Thomson Financial) - The second attempt by receivers of bankrupt Slovakian airline Slovenske Aerolinie a.s. to sell the company's assets has failed, news agency SITA reported.
The company's official receiver Vladimir Neuschl said there had not been a single bid for the assets within the deadline stipulated and he now plans to announce a third round.
Vladimir Neuschl was elected official receiver of assets at the creditor meeting on Oct 5. The creditor committee includes representatives from the carrier's largest creditor, Austrian Airlines as well as representatives from Erste Bank and Tyrolean Airways.
