
Teleca (STO:TELCB), a world-leading supplier of software services to the mobile industry, today announced that is has appointed Leif Norgaard as its new CFO, replacing Christian Luiga from September 1. Leif Norgaard brings more than 20 years of senior and executive management experience to Teleca, whereof he held the position as CFO of the Chr. Hansen Group, Denmark for a number of years.
Leif Norgaard (53) holds a Master's degree in accounting & auditing from University of Arhus and is a Certified Public Accountant (state authorized auditor). Leif Norgaard has a solid track record as a public company CFO at Chr. Hansen Group, Denmark, and later as CFO of Danish DAKO Group. Further, he has strong operational experience from several operational assignments including a period as President and CEO of Chr. Hansen in North America. Leif Norgaard brings a solid global business perspective with practical experience from all of Americas, Asia, Europe and Russia.
With the appointment of Leif Norgaard Teleca further strengthens its leadership with strong financial and managerial capabilities as the company expands its business. Teleca is currently expanding its operations in strategic countries such as India, China, Russia and Poland, from where it will be able to deliver increasing scale in services for the wireless industry.
Leif Norgaard will replace Teleca's CFO since 2004, Christian Luiga. Christian Luiga has been a key contributor to Teleca's transformation. After completing the move of Teleca's head office to Malmo, Christian Luiga has decided to seek new opportunities closer to his home in Stockholm.
