The presentation, titled "Clinical Applications of Predictive Modeling," will focus on the relationship between reducing healthcare costs and closing "Care Gaps," which is integral to D2's predictive modeling system. Dr. Singh and Dr. Gautum will present on Monday, September 22 during Track Session One ("Clinical Applications Track.")
The D2 predictive modeling system is composed of the Risk Index (RI), which calculates clinical risk and predicts future costs, and the Care Gap Index (CGI), a score that assesses the type and degree of care gaps for individuals in a population. The presentation will cover the most recent statistical analysis of the relationship between the Care Gap Index and healthcare costs within various population segments.
