
Temple-Inland Inc. (NYSE:TIN) today announced that Chris Mathis has been named Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasury, and Geoff Reid Director of Treasury of the company. The company also announced that Randy Levy, its Chief Financial Officer, will assume the additional title of Treasurer.
Mr. Mathis, 35, joined Temple-Inland in 1999 and has served in various capacities, including corporate attorney, senior corporate attorney, vice-president of resource planning for the building products group and, most recently, director of investor relations. Mr. Mathis holds a bachelor of business administration degree, master of business administration degree, and a doctor of jurisprudence from Texas Tech University.
Mr. Reid, 38, joined Temple-Inland in 2003 as assistant treasurer. Prior to joining the company, he gained a wide range of financial experience in the oil and gas industry, including as assistant treasurer of CITGO Petroleum Corporation. Mr. Reid holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Tulsa, a masters degree in economics from Georgetown University and is a CFA Charterholder.
