Artisan Funds announced today a partial closing of Artisan Mid Cap Value Fund that will take effect on July 10, 2009. The Fund will be closing to most new investors buying shares through financial professionals, directly through Artisan Distributors and certain broker-dealer and third-party intermediaries. The Fund will remain open to existing investors, investors who satisfy new account eligibility requirements and new 401(k) plans and their participants.
