
The Colorado chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), a global network of more than 7,300 business owners in nearly 42 countries driving more than US$111 billion revenue, today announced the appointment of 16 Colorado community and business leaders to its local board of directors.
The chapter will be led by Laura Love, president and founder of GroundFloor Media, a Denver-based hybrid communication agency. A member of EO since 2004, Love was recently named to the Denver 150 and was also selected as a finalist for the Denver Business Journal’s 2006 and 2007 Outstanding Women in Business awards. In addition, she has been honored with the Kauffman Community Award, which recognizes outstanding individual entrepreneurs who have made a significant difference in their local communities.
The Colorado chapter’s board boasts numerous other business and community leaders including:
- Sam Eidson, founder of 90octane, a conversion-driven marketing agency that helps business-to-business companies generate sales leads, international nonprofits attract new donors, and top consumer brands enter new markets and increase sales
- Brad Dupee, founder of Copper Conferencing, an audio, web and video conferencing services company
- Joel Egelman, founder of HPP Inc., a commercial and multifamily painting company, and Asbestos Abatement Inc., a firm specializing in asbestos, mold and bio-hazard removal
- Barry Hamilton, founder of Red Canyon, an aerospace software and engineering company whose employees develop cutting-edge technology to help humankind explore space, other planets, and renewable resources on Earth
- Reid Hanson, owner of All About Sound & Cinema, a middle-to-high end custom audio, video and automation company servicing the residential and commercial markets and, more recently, the founder of totbeds.com, a manufacturer of distinctive children’s furniture
- Heather Terrenzio, founder of Techtonic Group, an outsourced software and supply chain technology development company with a dedicated Eastern European-based development team that utilizes Agile methodology techniques
- Rushton McGarr, co-founder of Market Force Information, the leading customer experience information and insights provider to Fortune 1000 multi-location businesses including retailers, restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, financial institutions, entertainment studios and consumer packaged goods companies
- David M. McLain, founding member of Higgins, Hopkins, McLain & Roswell LLC, a boutique law firm that specializes in representing general contractors and developers in all facets of construction litigation
- Brian Meegan, partner in the law firm Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe, PC, a pre-eminent Denver firm assisting its business clients with their corporate, real estate, litigation, employment, special district, environmental, tax and estate planning needs
- Lee Prosenjak, co-owner of Cherry Creek Dance, an instructional dance studio for children age 18 months through adults and professionals in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, break-dance, cheerleading and musical theatre, featuring the best instructors in Colorado
- Jim Scott, owner of Qube Visual, the Rocky Mountain region’s leader in visual marketing solutions and the exclusive and official sign and graphics provider of the Pepsi Center, including the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth
- Sean Tonner, founder of Phase Line Strategies, a full-service public affairs firm covering the Western United States and Europe
- Tami Young, founder of AdvenTech, an IT staffing, outplacement services and strategic consulting company established in 2001
- Steve Ziegler, co-founder of Tri-Worth Solutions, an executive search and RPO firm with offices around the nation, and Jet Luxury Resorts which rents exclusive luxurious properties
