WL ROSS & CO LLC

James Lockhart, the director, CEO and chairman of the Oversight Board of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), will become vice chairman of WL Ross & Co. LLC, the distressed investment affiliate of Invesco Ltd, the firm said.



BANK OF AMERICA MERRILL LYNCH

Bank of America Merrill Lynch said it hired Christopher Bae and Thomas Gillie as managing directors and co-heads of global foreign exchange options. Bae and Gillie, who will both join in October, previously worked at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, respectively.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch said it hired banking veteran Brad Cameron to head its Canadian mergers and acquisitions team, the latest sign a capital markets pick-up may be in the making in Canada.



MOELIS & CO

U.S.-based investment bank Moelis & Company has hired a five-person team in a newly opened Sydney office to cover the Asian-Pacific markets, it said.

Chris Wyke, formerly part of JPMorgan investment banking group, will join in September as managing director with Senior Vice President Julian Biggins. Ben Wong was hired as vice president, while Phil Newman and Paul Rathborne will join as associates.



NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK

Malcolm Thompson, global head of institutional sales at National Australia Bank (NAB) in Sydney, is transferring to Hong Kong as head of markets, NAB said.



NEOVIA FINANCIAL PLC

Neovia Financial Group said it has appointed Mark Mayhew as president and chief executive, effective Sept. 1. Most recently, Mayhew served as chief executive of Debrett's Ltd.



ING WHOLESALE BANKING

ING has appointed Steven Hemmings managing director and senior pan-European sales trader and Thomas Iveson vice-president for pan-European sales trading at its equity market business.



STANDARD LIFE INVESTMENTS

Standard Life Investments has appointed Andrew Fraser as investment director, banking, at its fixed income team. Fraser joins the company from Blackrock where he served as director, European Credit Research.



RBC CAPITAL MARKETS

RBC Capital Markets has hired Marc Fleischman to serve as managing director and head of hedge fund sales, Europe. Fleischman most recently worked at Citigroup as a managing director.



HSBC PRIVATE BANK

HSBC Private Bank has appointed Priya Mallik senior relationship manager in North India. She previously served as the regional head of American Express Private Bank.
