Former Taleo, SelectMinds Executive Brings Extensive Technology Marketing Experience
Coveo Executive Chairman Louis Tetu announced recently the appointment of Diane Berry to the company’s executive team as Vice President, Marketing and Communication. Coveo is a leading provider of advanced enterprise search technology and information access solutions for high performance companies.
In making the announcement, Tetu said, “Several Coveo executives previously worked with Diane at Taleo, where she served from 2000 through 2005 as SVP, Global Marketing & Communication, and we are all happy to be working with her again. Diane was a key driving force behind Taleo’s growth from early-stage to its public offering on NASDAQ. While there, Diane helped to define a nascent industry - human capital management - and a new delivery method - Software as a Service. At SelectMinds, she defined how enterprise social media would benefit organizations globally, again defining a very young market. With Taleo Corp. (NASDAQ:TLO) from its initial round of financing to its public offering, Berry was responsible for all global marketing, from new product launches to analyst and media relations, customer value studies, customer user groups and strategic messaging and positioning. Following Taleo, Diane was Chief Marketing Officer of SelectMinds, a corporate social media solutions provider, where she defined the organization’s messaging and positioning, conducted value studies, thought-leadership engagements and became an industry spokesperson for the value social media brings to business. Berry also led the company’s product expansion from a provider of corporate alumni networks to a leading provider of social media solutions for many different corporate constituencies, from employees to customers. Berry has also served as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer with Smyth Solutions, a SaaS provider of accounts receivable and credit solutions and outsourcing services, and as an executive in the publishing industry, where she was instrumental in the successful Initial Public Offering of Journal Register Company on the NYSE.
