Finding a professional photographer is now just a screen tap away! The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) has announced its popular Find A Photographer (FAP) service is now available directly from Apple’s iPhone. The FAP app, which can be downloaded free from Apple’s App Store, allows users to search for an ASMP photographer anywhere in the United States and in many foreign countries directly from their iPhones.
Find a Photographer offers complete information on thousands of ASMP Member photographers. According to ASMP Executive Director Eugene Mopsik, “FAP is the most convenient way to connect with top photographers by location and by specialty. In most markets, you will find a choice of talented professionals and can easily view samples of their work.” FAP can also be accessed at findaphotographer.org.
“The ASMP app is a great resource for anyone looking to hire a professional photographer,” said Bernard Urban, a user of FAP and Creative Director of Gigantic, a digital marketing agency specializing in social media, branded content and interactive experiences. “It’s a great mobile solution and a real time-saver.”
ASMP is the premier trade association for photographers who create images primarily for publication. Founded in 1944, ASMP is the leader in promoting photographers’ rights, providing education in better business practices, producing business publications for photographers, and helping to connect purchasers with professional photographers. ASMP has a membership of nearly 7,000 in 39 chapters across the country, and its members include many of the world’s foremost photographers. More information is available at http://www.asmp.org/.
