Applications That Span Multiple Sites; New Methods for Consumer Engagement; Platforms for New Power Applications to Be Key Topics at Kynetx’ Developer Conference Event
The greatest minds in technology will come together in Provo, Utah, at the Kynetx Impact Conference, Nov. 18-19, 2009. Kim Cameron and Doc Searls will provide keynote presentations at this event, which will discuss the current “client-side revolution” in web applications and the new generation of applications that are emerging within the emerging era of the “Purpose-Centric Web.”
The cost is just $45 for this limited-space opportunity to engage in person with these pioneers of next-generation web development.
Identity icon Kim Cameron is the Chief Officer of Identity at Microsoft, where he works to drive the emergence of privacy-enhancing technology and to make it pervasive across technologies, industries, countries and cultures. Cameron publishes his insights, including his renowned Laws of Identity, at IdentityBlog.com. He will be discussing The Identity Metasystem at the Impact event.
Doc Searls is Senior Editor of Linux Journal and co-author of The Cluetrain Manifesto, and holds fellowships with both the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University and the Center for Information Technology and Society at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Doc will discuss The Intention Economy: What happens When Customers Get Real Power?
Event co-host Dr. Phil Windley, Founder and CTO of Kynetx, Inc., will elaborate on the principles he unveiled in last month’s Digital ID World keynote address as he discusses The Forgotten Edge: Creating a Purpose Centric Web.
Co-host and identity and lexicon expert Craig Burton will discuss the web’s new paradigm of “knowing and doing” as opposed to “going and getting” in his discussion on Context is Everything: The New Rules of Engagement in the Purpose Based Web.
The conference will offer workshops that teach attendees how to create purpose-centric applications that leverage the browser and user context to provide never-before-seen experiences that can span multiple URLs as users navigate the web.
