Leading IT Service Provider Joins Apparent Networks "Powered by PathView" Program
Apparent Networks, a leading provider of network performance and availability solutions, today announced Tier3 Technologies as the newest participant in the Powered by PathView partner program. Tier3 Technologies, an IT service provider specializing in business performance improvements, is now offering Apparent Networks' PathView solutions as part of its Eveready Services Platform®.
Tier3 Technologies provides IT services that improve enterprise productivity. The firm offers unique IT audit and assessment processes to help companies optimize their existing networks. The results increase business productivity, enhance computing speed and have a quick payback window for ROI.
As a Powered by PathView partner, Tier3 is using PathView Cloud to deliver managed services which improve network performance and let customers focus on accomplishing their business goals. Tier3 Technologies is performing pre-deployment assessments to evaluate the readiness of networks for next-generation applications, continuously assess network performance through the cloud, validate carrier network bandwidth SLAs, and quickly find and fix network performance issues.
"We believe our clients are entering a major transition period, moving from their own computing resources to software as a service," said Michael Paynter, owner and managing partner of Tier3 Technologies. "PathView Cloud provides tools to make sure connections to those services are reliable and high quality, and gives us tools to fix problems quickly."
Tier3's services use PathView Cloud in combination with the recently released PathView microAppliance, which extends the visibility of PathView Cloud to a wide range of locations throughout customer networks, including small, remote offices. This visibility enables Tier3 to quickly address service issues.
"Leading IT service providers like Tier3 Technologies recognize the important role that ensuring the network delivery of critical applications plays in helping customers to achieve their business goals," said Jim Melvin, president and CMO of Apparent Networks. "The Powered by PathView program enables our partners to quickly and easily offer the network performance management services that their customers are demanding. We are pleased to welcome Tier3 Technologies as the newest member of the program, and we look forward to working with them to deliver valuable network visibility to their customers and a competitive advantage in the marketplace."
Announced today by Apparent Networks, the Powered by PathView program is designed to deliver a new source of recurring revenue and market impact for businesses whose primary function is to sell, service, support or build solutions that rely upon complex, distributed networks. Examples of these businesses include value-added resellers of VoIP, unified communications and WAN optimization solutions; and IT service providers, consultants and systems integrators who offer services over local or wide area networks, cloud networks, or other distributed networks.
