MERCER

The consulting and outsourcing firm, a unit of Marsh & McLennan Cos Inc, named Will Oulton European head of responsible investment (RI) within its investment consulting business, based in London. Oulton will take up his new role in May.

Oulton was previously director of Responsible Investment at FTSE Group.



STANDARD CHARTERED

The bank named Nathan McMurtray head of origination for equity-linked securities. McMurtray was previously managing director at the global markets group and head of equity-linked origination, Standard Chartered, Asia.



PIPER JAFFRAY

The investment bank named Corinna Kubin principal, clean tech & renewables investment banking, Europe. Kubin was previously director of multi-industry group at Merrill Lynch, London.

CLOSE ASSET MANAGEMENT

The financial services provider named Jon Wingent intermediary client adviser. Wingent has previously worked with EFG Private Bank, Merrill Lynch and Barclays Wealth.



CITIGROUP

Citi India named Rahul Soota head of retail and commercial banking. Soota joined the Bank in 1992, and was most recently managing director of Citifinancial.



CARDEW GROUP

The specialist consultancy focusing on financial and corporate communications named Sandy Soames director of its client-facing team. Soames was recently head of European food, household and personal care at Cazenove Equities.



DELOITTE LLP

The firm named Timothy Mahapatra managing director of its corporate finance practice. Mahapatra has previously held a number of senior positions including head of transaction services, and leader of Deloitte's M&A programme.
