Full Spectrum Signs on as Premier Exhibitor
The Plant Medicine Expo & Healthcare Provider Conference (PME/HPC), the first only truly educational conference to provide individuals suffering from chronic medical conditions with comprehensive, objective information about medical marijuana, today announced the addition of Full Spectrum Laboratories as the event's featured sponsor.
Full Spectrum Laboratories is the nation's first independent botanical testing laboratory providing innovative quantification, certification, and product safety testing to the emerging medical cannabis industry. Through their testing facility, FSL provides dispensaries, patients, growers and bakers not only with critical safety information, but also with a complete and accurate picture of the properties of particular medical marijuana strains, thereby enabling patients and healthcare providers to better understand what strains are most effective for treatment.
"The Plant Medicine Expo is a medical conference and professional forum where the best, brightest and most progressive companies and speakers in the country can come together to better understand how medical marijuana may, or may not, fit into a patient's treatment regiment," said TGI Co-founder, Seth Ginsberg. "Research and understanding are critical educational components as physicians and patients seek to better under medical marijuana and its application. As such, we are honored to have Full Spectrum Laboratories' support and believe their participation will greatly benefit all who attend the conference."
The PME/HPC is targeted at the uninitiated, under-informed and reticent potential patients and physicians who may be aware of medical marijuana as a potential treatment option but who otherwise lack the understanding needed to make an educated determination on its appropriateness for their condition. To that end, the event will include numerous breakout sessions targeted at potential patients and physicians to discuss the pros and cons of medical marijuana.
"There is a great deal of talk and excitement around medical marijuana throughout the country right now," said Bob Winnicki, president, Full Spectrum Laboratories. "To really move the conversation forward and fully realize the medical potential of marijuana, more research and understanding is necessary. Providing that understanding is central to our mission, and is why working with the Plant Medicine Expo and Healthcare Provider Conference was a natural step for us."
The PME/HPC will be held at Denver's Sheraton Downtown Hotel from September 25th to 26th, 2010. For more information on registration you can visit www.plantmedicineexpo.com.
