Four New Hires to Increase Banking Coverage Capabilities Across Natural Resources, Technology, Industrials, and Healthcare Sectors
Deutsche Bank today announced four senior additions to its Corporate Banking Coverage (CBC) platform.
In New York, Ross Levitsky will join as a Managing Director and Head of West Coast Coverage with additional oversight of West Coast Technology Coverage. Levitsky will join the Bank following a 15-year career at Citigroup, where he was a Managing Director in the Global Technology Banking Coverage group.
Philippe Sandmeier rejoined the Bank in late July as a Managing Director and Head of Natural Resources Corporate Coverage. Sandmeier spent six years at Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was most recently a Managing Director in the Chemicals & Agriculture coverage group. Prior to RBS, he was a Director at Deutsche Bank's Natural Resources group, focusing on the oil & gas sector.
In addition, Lawrence Williamson will join as a Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Corporate Banking Coverage after more than two decades at JPMorgan Chase, where he served in a number of roles, most recently as an Executive Director and Senior Corporate Banker in the Healthcare group.
In Chicago, Kurt Anstaett will join as a Managing Director and Head of Midwest Corporate Banking Coverage. Anstaett will join from Bank of America Merrill Lynch after 31 years in corporate and investment banking. Anstaett was a Managing Director for 16 years, most recently in the Global Industrials Group.
All four individuals will report to Andreas Neumeier, Head of Corporate Banking Coverage for North America.
"While specifically the natural resources sector and our industrials portfolio continue to represent significant growth opportunities, we are also increasing our coverage focus in technology and healthcare. In addition, our regional focus on the Midwest and West Coast are critical components of the Bank's continued expansion of its corporate banking platform," said Neumeier. "These additions to the CBC franchise will further enhance our coverage depth and successes in these important areas."
"Corporate banking has always been and remains a key component of the superior client coverage we provide at Deutsche Bank," said Alex Manson, Global Head of Corporate Banking Coverage and Global Lending Group at Deutsche Bank. "We're excited to have Philippe, Ross, Kurt and Larry join the team."
