
David Suendermann, SpeechCycle's Principal Speech Scientist, to present at SIGdial 2010 and Interspeech 2010
SpeechCycle, Inc., the leading provider of Rich Phone Applications, today announced that its advanced research in speech science will be presented at SIGdial 2010 in Tokyo, Japan on September 25, 2010 and at Interspeech 2010 from September 26-30, 2010 in Makuhari, Japan.
A SIGdial presentation will showcase SpeechCycle's Principal Speech Scientist David Suendermann who will discuss the importance of semi-automated transcription and semantic annotation of large numbers of utterances in tuning of speech recognition and understanding.

Dr. Suendermann has been working on various fields of speech technology research for the last 10 years. He worked at multiple industrial and academic institutions including Siemens (Munich), Columbia University (New York), USC (Los Angeles), UPC (Barcelona), and is currently the Principal Speech Scientist of SpeechCycle.
