Customers
- Telligent saw its customer base grow in FY2010, and has recently welcomed many new customers including Sage North America, Cable & Wireless and Planit.
- Sage North America wanted the ability to consolidate its online communities onto one platform and integrate with third-party applications. Sage will replace its existing community systems with the Telligent Evolution platform, leveraging Telligent Community and Telligent Analytics to improve customer service, speed product innovation and gather customer feedback. Sage North America, a division of Sage Group PLC, supports the needs and challenges of more than 3.1 million small and mid-sized business customers in Canada and the US. Solutions include Sage Peachtree accounting software and Sage SalesLogix CRM software.
Industry Recognition
- Telligent has recently received tremendous industry recognition,
transcending previous years' reports:
- Telligent customer APAN (All Partners Access Network) won a highly coveted 2010 Forrester Groundswell Award for Employee Social Application in the Management category.
- Telligent was one of only two vendors included in both TheForrester Wave: Community Platforms, Q4 2010 and Gartner Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace 2010.
- Telligent was positioned as a Visionary in the recent Gartner report, Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace. The report states that Telligent has strengthened its position and is building a strong presence in both internally and externally facing deployments with a broad common platform and rich social analytics.
- In The Forrester Wave: Community Platforms, Q4 2010, Telligent is named a Strong Performer. Differentiators include Telligent's platform and integration capabilities.
- In the Forrester report, Enterprise Social Networking 2010 Market Overview, when compared with companies including IBM and Microsoft, Telligent is positioned as a "pure play social vendor" with an innovation and integration strategy. Forrester praises Telligent's analytics, firm roots in social technologies, internal and external offerings, and partner network.
- Forrester included Telligent customer Psion Teklogix in the recent report, Why Intercompany Collaboration is Important to Technology Product Managers and Marketers, citing Psion's ability to channel partners through social collaboration.
- In Social CRM: The New Rules of Customer Engagement, Altimeter Group named Telligent a "vendor to watch" in multiple categories, including Social Marketing Insights, Social Sales Insights, Social Support Insights, and Innovation Insights. In addition, Telligent was recognized in the high-demand Rapid Social Response category.
- Telligent was recently included in "Enterprise Social Networking and Collaboration," a book published by UK-based analyst firm Martin Butler Research. The firm gave Telligent its highest rating, Superior.
- Patricia Seybold Group's Online Community Platform Company and Product Update – 1H 2010 included Telligent as a market leader in new customer acquisitions, noting well-developed offerings for both internal and external deployments.
